The Lion Public House at Leavenheath was recently acquired by new owners who felt that the existing signs could do with a bit of TLC. After having a look at the existing signs we came up with a schedule which involved removing all of the existing signs, strip off the current graphics, get the signs powder coated, apply new graphics and then re-fit the signs. Once we removed the hanging signs we found that the existing ones were not secure enough to re-fit so we decided to make new ones instead using new powder coated aluminium frames with new insert panels that were then installed into the existing iron frames. The main building signs were not so much of problem and once the guys at Impact Coatings had worked their magic it just left us to apply the new graphics and re-install the signs onto the building. Apart from leaving The Lion with a much more striking image we managed to carry out the work from removing the signs to re-fitting the signs in just over 48 hours.
